My experience

I’ve been working in the arts and cultural sector for over ten years. I’ve developed a broad skillset and pride myself on being organised, creative and delivering results.

I recently relocated to Poole in Dorset and work part time as the Marketing and Communications Manager at Activate Performing Arts. Prior to this I was Head of Marketing – Events at the Arts Marketing Association. I’m actively looking for clients to collaborate with on a freelance consultancy basis.

Organisations I’ve worked at include:

Cambridge Arts Theatre
Mumford Theatre
Ruskin Gallery
University of Cambridge Museums
Arts Marketing Association

Freelance clients include:

Arts Fundraising & Philanthropy (Cause 4)
Arts Marketing Association
The Paddock Project
Women Leaders South West (The Point Eastleigh)
The Nine Dots Prize

Picking up the phone to me might open another door for you.

Look, I’ve worked with Verity in a variety of situations with different projects and clients over the last few years, and when the going gets tough, Verity has conjured marketing magic to get the message to the right audience at the right time. Every time. Want to make sure you make your revenue goal? Work with Verity.”
Ron Evans, CEO, Dramatic Strategies Co.

Verity worked with us at the Nine Dots Prize to help find and build links with organisations whose membership might be interested in applying. She used information from past cycles of the Prize to identify target sectors and organisations, and then worked with them to share information with their networks. With Verity’s help we were able to build on our previous application figures despite the difficult current situation. I would happily recommend her.”
Jane Tinkler, Senior Prize Manager, Nine Dots Prize
